A canopy bench on an urban parade at dusk
Procurement · the buyer pack

The majors win because they are easy to buy from. So this is published, not requested.

Furnitubes and Environmental Street Furniture do not beat us on watts. They beat us because a buyer can find a specification, a warranty, insurance certificates and a framework route without emailing anyone. Everything on this page is the pack that closes that gap: paste the specification into a tender, read the terms, check the route for your value band, and see the social value calculation rather than a claim about it.

Tender specification

One page a buyer can paste straight into a specification document.

Dimensions, loads, outputs, standards, warranty, lead time and price. No adjectives, and no figure here that is not also on a technical page with its derivation attached.

Routes to purchase

Four value bands, four routes, honest timescales for each.

The first order is deliberately scoped under the direct-award ceiling. Not to avoid scrutiny, but because a four-month framework qualification should not stand between a high street and a working bench.

Commercial pack

Every document, and whether we hold it today.

Held means it exists now and issues with a quotation. Site specific means it is written for your layout, because a generic method statement for a lift onto a live pavement is worthless.

Social value

Scored the way a Greater Manchester buyer actually scores it.

Social value is often the difference between two technically compliant bids. An importer cannot score local employment or city-region supply chain spend. We can, and here is the measure each claim answers.

NT1 local employment
Our claim
Manufacture and assembly within Greater Manchester
Evidence
2 direct FTE per 400 benches, evidenced by payroll postcode
NT3 apprenticeships
Our claim
One apprentice per production shift added
Evidence
Level 3 engineering apprenticeship, GM college partner
NT9 local supply chain spend
Our claim
Composite compounding, tooling and steel sourced in the North West
Evidence
68 percent of unit cost retained in the city region
NT19 carbon emissions
Our claim
312 kg CO2e avoided per bench
Evidence
Screening LCA against the first bill of materials
NT20 safeguarding the natural environment
Our claim
Diverted modules, plastic and tree timber
Evidence
26 kg plastic and 4 modules diverted per bench
NT23 social innovation
Our claim
Free public charging and open uptime reporting
Evidence
Charging free at point of use, published load priority
Modelled
Delivery and install

What lands on your pavement, and for how long.

Delivered on a 7.5 tonne curtain-sider, offloaded by tail-lift and pallet truck. No crane required.

Two-person install, 90 minutes per bench, no wet trades and no excavation on a surface-ballast install.

Ballast trays fill on site with recycled aggregate, so nothing over 80 kg is manually handled.

Bolt-down option for adopted highway, M12 resin anchors, four fixings, drilling depth 110 mm.

Commissioning on the same visit: array check, pack state, output test, mesh join, host handover and QR label.

Removal is the reverse and leaves no slab, which matters for meanwhile use and event sites.

Where this sits

This pack closes the procurement readiness row on the differentiation roadmap. Terms in full are on the warranty and lifecycle page, and the standards programme is on the compliance matrix.
